Women's Osprey Tempest 40L Hiking Backpack

The Tempest 40 was designed with the needs of lightweight multi-day travelers in mind. When navigating technical terrain, the pack's injection-molded AirScape® backpanel, continuous-wrap harness, and hipbelt move with the user's body, providing a streamlined, women-specific design. This pack features a separate sleeping bag compartment, zippered hip pockets, ice axe and trekking pole attachment points, and a reservoir sleeve.

Constructed with high-quality, bluesign®-approved recycled high-tenacity nylon and a PFC-free DWR coating, the Tempest 40 offers a sustainable and durable build that can withstand years of use. Integrated BioStretch seams provide maximum flexibility without sacrificing stability, allowing for dynamic body movement. Breathable, comfortable contact with the user's back is ensured by spacermesh over die-cut foam.

The harness system on the Tempest 40 can be easily adjusted to fit various torso lengths, ensuring a personalized fit. Access to the main compartment is provided through a top-loader design, while an external hydration sleeve can accommodate up to a 3L reservoir (sold separately). Stretch mesh pockets on both sides of the pack offer convenient storage for bottles and smaller items, and two zippered hipbelt pockets and a top lid zippered slash pocket provide easy-access storage.

The Stow-On-The-Go Trekking pole attachment allows users to quickly attach and carry their trekking poles while wearing the pack, making it a versatile and practical choice for outdoor adventures.
